BIO:

Grammy Award-winning cellist Sara Sant'Ambrogio first leapt to international attention as a winner at the Eighth International Tchaikovsky Violoncello Competition in Moscow. The New York Times described her resulting Carnegie Hall debut as "sheer pleasure...there was an irresistible warmth in everything Miss Sant’Ambrogio did." She has given recitals on six continents and has appeared as a soloist with such orchestras as Atlanta, Boston Pops, Beijing Philharmonic, Chicago, Dallas, Royal Philharmonic, Moscow State Philharmonic, Prague Chamber Orchestra, St. Louis, Seattle and San Francisco.
