Ian Gindes

BIO:

American pianist Ian Gindes is the 2011 first prize winner of the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition, making his Weill Recital Hall debut at Carnegie Hall. In 2014, he returned to New York for the Alexander & Buono Festival of Music performing at Steinway Hall. He is known for playing Aaron Copland's works, including the Our Town Suite. He has received critical acclaim for recent performances including Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Earl Wild’s Gershwin etudes, as well as Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto and Schumann’s Piano Concerto. His recording of Schumann’s Piano Sonata in G minor has received international recognition on YouTube. Read More
